ANKARA -- Turkish Foreign Ministry on Thursday slammed the U.S. remarks on the Istanbul mayoral elections, urging Washington to respect the revote decision by the Turkish top election body.

CAIRO -- An Egyptian court on Thursday acquitted former Interior Minister Habib al-Adly in a retiral of his corruption case, the official news agency MENA reported.

BAGHDAD -- Eight people were killed and 12 other injured on Thursday in a suicide bomb attack at a marketplace in Sadr City neighborhood in eastern the Iraqi capital Baghdad, a police source told Xinhua.
