Gold price opens higher in Hong Kong

HONG KONG, April 12 (Xinhua) -- The gold price in Hong Kong went up 72 Hong Kong dollars to open at 12,660 dollars (about 1,612.83 U.S. dollars) per tael on Thursday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society. (1 U.S. dollar equals to 7.85 HK dollars)
