NEW DELHI, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting Iranian President Hassan Rouhani held talks here Saturday on bilateral relations.

The talks focused on energy, trade and other fields, and after the talks the two sides inked nine agreements including one on Chabahar port.

At a joint media meet held after the talks, the Indian prime minister spoke about India and Iran's efforts to cooperate on many fronts, saying, "Indians and Iranians had learned a lot from each other."

Rouhani said he hoped to see great success in bilateral ties. "We had positive talks for trade, tariffs, visa, and several economic and cultural relations in the region," he added.

The Iranian president arrived in the southern Indian city of Hyderabad Thursday on a three-day visit to the country.?
