BEIJING, May 2 (Xinhua) -- A 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck the Drake Passage at 8:58 p.m. Friday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 56.80 degrees south latitude and 68.25 degrees west longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 10 km, said a report issued by the CENC. ■
